Dale Phillips
Author of the Zack Taylor Series

A lifelong student of mysteries, Maine, and the martial arts, Dale Phillips has combined all of these into A Memory of Grief. His travels and background allow him to paint a compelling picture of Zack Taylor, a man with a mission, but one at odds with himself and his new environment.
A longtime follower of mystery fiction, the author has crafted a hero in the mold of Travis McGee, Doc Ford, and John Cain, a moral man at heart who finds himself faced with difficult choices in a dangerous world. But Maine is different from the mean, big-city streets of New York, Boston, or L.A., and Zack must learn quickly if he is to survive.
Dale studied writing with Stephen King, and has published over 20 short stories, as well as poetry and articles. He has appeared on stage, television, and in an independent feature film, Throg. He has also appeared on two nationally televised quiz shows, Jeopardy and Think Twice. He co-wrote and acted in The Nine, a short political satire film. His helpful career book, How to Improve Your Interviewing Skills, is available on Smashwords (www.smashwords.com/books/view/30463). He has traveled to all 50 states, Mexico, Canada, and through Europe. He enjoys competitive sports, historical re-enactment, and his family. Dale’s web site can be found at: www.daletphillips.com.
Dale has released his second novel, A Fall from Grace, and is working on his third in the Zack Taylor series
