Tammy Andrew

President

Tammy cut her literary teeth in her teens writing poetry and short stories. She studied writing with Betty Shipley, Oklahoma's 1997-1998 Poet Laureate, and several of Tammy's pieces appeared in a variety of small anthologies and literary publications.

During college her written work took on a new form when she co-authored three scientific papers, two of which appeared in the American Physical Society's journals.  Tammy returned to academia a few years after leaving college and put her analytical and writing experience to use designing and delivering curriculum.  Her attention to detailed curriculum and desire to help other teachers is featured in the over 300 teacher tips and training articles.

Tammy's ability to provide a critical eye to details while promoting a nurturing and supportive environment for her students to improve their own technical work earned her the Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction award in 2008. The principal founders of Briona Glen approached her shortly thereafter with the prospect of applying her varied writing and educational background to supporting a group of editors and writers, which was a new challenge she could not refuse.

William A. Birch

Director of Technology

One of the founders of Briona Glen Publishing, Wil comes to the company with twenty year's experience in information technology, a background in computer science and a lifetime love of music and reading.  Wil spent most of the 90s and 2000s contracting with many different companies, from start ups to large established corporations, giving him a wide range of experience managing IT in professional environments.  This experience, along with the driving interest in the arts, led him to partner with Jason Reilly and together they created Briona Glen Publishing.

Growing up in the 70s in a musical family, Wil has always had an affinity for the arts both written and musical.  He plays bass in a Monadnock Region blues band, The Gary Wilson Blues Project and is also the lyricist and composer for his own solo musical projects.  When he's not playing bass or behind the wheel of a car, he enjoys reading fantasy, science fiction, travel/adventure or any book that's simply well-written and entertaining.
